Daniel Ricciardo is reportedly back with VCARB – Red Bull’s junior team – after the summer break despite speculation he could be dropped mid-season. red bull managers Christian Horner and Helmut Marko met at the team’s headquarters on Monday to draw up a plan of attack for the rest of 2024.

Ricciardo finished two races outside the points by finishing 10th in the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday, six places ahead of teammate Tsunoda. It has still been a disappointing season for the Australian overall, with his 12-point haul in the Drivers’ Championship leaving him in 13th place.

Nerves may have been fraying for Ricciardo before Horner and Marko converged in Milton Keynes on Monday. But according to Motorsport.comthe red bull managers have decided not to switch VCARBs driver lineup at this point in the season.
