Miami-Dade County Public School remains an A-rated school district

The Florida Department of Education recently released school ratings for the 2023-24 school year and Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) is once again an “A rated” district.

The following is a summary of school performance ratings for Miami-Dade County Public Schools 2023-2024:
• For the fifth year in a row, M-DCPS has achieved an “A” grade throughout the district.
• M-DCPS ranked eighth among the state’s 67 districts, based on the number of total points earned toward the district grade.
• Overall, 99 percent of M-DCPS schools earned school grades of A, B or C in 2024:
• 54 percent were graded A.
• 28 percent were graded B.
• 17 percent were graded C.

“This shows that we have a consistent track record in our school district as a result of the incredible work of our students, teachers, support staff, school leaders and district leaders. And this is what we owe our community – highly rated schools and the best educational opportunities possible.” We are the best choice, says Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jose L. Dotres.
