(CelebrityAccess) — Grammy-nominated artists Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 announced plans for a tour that will hit venues and festivals across Europe and the UK later this year.

The “Heavier Yet” tour kicks off on October 10th at Fiesta des Suds in Marseille, France, with plans to hit 27 additional venues and festivals before wrapping up at WinterFuse in Bruges, Belgium on December 14th.

Kuti will tour in support of their upcoming album, Heavier Yet (Lays the Crownless Head), which is scheduled for release via Milan-based record label Record Kicks on October 4.

The European run follows Seun Kuti’s successful US tour where they performed alongside The Soul Rebels and Red Hot Chili Peppers in the US and Canada in June and July.
