The Hanley Foundation, addiction treatment experts, appoints new board members

The Hanley Foundation, Florida’s largest provider of addiction recovery and prevention services, has announced David Ganek and Keith Palagye has been appointed to the non-profit organization’s board. Ganek is the founder of CityLights and the founder and former portfolio manager of Level Global Investors. Ganek and his wife, Danielle, are Palm Beach residents and began their engagement with Hanley last year. Palagye is a dedicated philanthropist and former owner of Harold’s Coffee Lounge. Both Keith and his wife Stacy support many local initiatives, including Gratitude House, The Stacey and Keith Palagye Outreach Center at The Lord’s Place, The Mandel-Palagye Education Center at Palm Beach Day Academy, Comprehensive Alcoholism Rehabilitation Programs (CARP) and Inner-City Innovators. The Hanley Foundation is the largest provider of grant-funded prevention education programs in the state of Florida.

Caron Treatment Centers adds veteran to team of specialists

Caron Treatment Centers, a non-profit behavioral health leader dedicated to addiction treatment, research, prevention and medical education, recently announced the appointment of Amber DeckardPsyD, NPT-C, as Director of Caron’s Director of Neuropsychological and Psychological Services. A veteran of the US Marine Corps, she specializes in evaluating the effects of injury, disease, polypharmacy, and psychological disorders on cognitive abilities and behavior—addressing diagnostic factors such as brain injuries, stroke, chronic pain, stress, psychological disorders, personality traits , substance. addiction, dementia, intellectual ability (IQ), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and mental capacity.

Länsbostadsgruppen names latest board members

The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County has announced new appointments to its board of directors. The two new board members are Michele Jacobspresident and CEO, Economic Council of Palm Beach County and Jennifer Mortonpresident, JMorton Planning & Landscape Architecture. The Housing Leadership Council of Palm Beach County is a coalition of community leaders working to maintain the county’s economic vitality by making housing for all Palm Beach County residents economically feasible and sustainable.

Influence group for girls, young women appoints executive director

The Pace Center for Girls, a nationally recognized model providing education, counseling, training and advocacy for girls and young women, recently announced the appointment of Mindy Hanken as managing director of Pace Palm Beach. Hanken brings to the organization over 20 years of non-profit leadership and youth development leadership and has a proven track record of community impact. She most recently served as Director and Program Officer at the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County.

Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce fills leadership roles

The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce recently announced its newest board chair as well as three new committee chairs. Former Palm Beach Post publisher Timothy D. Burke was appointed chairman. Board member Corey Saban has been selected to serve as chairman of the group’s government committee. John Brandes will now serve as chairman of their ambassadorial committee. Taylor Smith will serve as Chair of their Young Professionals Council. The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and most active business organizations in Southeast Florida.

Rosarian Academy is hiring alum to fill marketing and communications position

Rosarian Academy in West Palm Beach is hiring Sophie Fountain as their new head of marketing and communications. Fountain attended the prestigious downtown school and graduated in 2013 before attending Cardinal Newman High School, then Florida State University and finally Rollins College where she earned her MBA.

Palm Beach real estate company names CFO

Palm Beach-based real estate firm Township Capital has hired Jonathan Sparacio as its CFO. Local law firm elevates CFO to CEO

Jones Foster, a 100-year-old commercial and private law firm with offices in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach and Jupiter, has announced that Donald E. Greetham has been promoted to managing director. Greetham, formerly the company’s CFO, is a senior executive and chartered accountant with more than 30 years of experience in leadership, financial management, corporate strategy and business operations. He will lead all of the company’s administrative and operational teams and will work closely with the board to develop and implement all operational, technological and financial strategies.
